VISTA will play a vital role in building Smart Bangladesh: Palak

VISTA Electronics Limited, an electronic product manufacturer of BD will play an important role in building Smart Bangladesh. It will export made-in-Bangladesh electronics products to meet the needs of the country. Simentiniously this growing company will also play a vital role in job creation along with major investment.

State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak commented this while laying the foundation stone of the new factory building of VISTA Electronics at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City in Kaliakore, Gazipur on Thursday (February 8, 2024) noon. Vista Electronics Chairman Samsul Alam, Managing Director Lokman Hossain Akash and Director Uday Hakim were present at that time.

Laying the foundation stone of Vista's new factory, the state minister said, I wish for the success of VISTA. May VUSTA Electronics start production well. Let them export electronics products to meet the needs of the country. We want to create employment for 10 lakh youth in ICT sector in the future. Hope VISTA will play an important role there.   

The state minister also said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's dream was to build a self-reliant digital Bangladesh. We succeeded in that under the leadership of Sajib Wazed Joy. Within ten years we have reached a respectable place. Now our next target is Smart Bangladesh.  

Earlier, the state minister took a special train from Dhaka to Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City. He was accompanied by private investors of Hitech City. The secretary of the ministry and the managing director of Hi-Tech Park were present. On reaching the Kaliakor Hi-Tech City, the State Minister first interacted with the investors. He spoke to the investors about the infrastructure and other issues and prospects of Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City. He then visited various factories.
